Brief info

Sagara B. S. unfolded learning Bharathanatyam at the age of 8. She has received her Triple major Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, English Literature and Psychology from the Christ University, Bengaluru. Currently she is perceiving MA in dance in Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysore. Gradually swayed by her passion for classical dance, she has been practicing dance at Achchi Classical Dance Centre under the impregnable guidance of Guru Vidushi Smt. Padmini Achchi.

The training encompassed by Guru Vidushi Smt. Padmini Achchi’s discipline, dearness, vindicated purpose and perfection has been a whole lot of admiration that is attached to Sagara’s zeal towards Bharatanatyam.

Under the guidance and support of the respectable Guru, Sagara finished her Bharathanatyam Rangapravesha in in 2016. To add to her credits, she has also completed her Vidwat in Bharatanatyam Examination conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board and the Bharatanatyam Alankar Pratham Examination conducted by Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya with meritorious grades. Sagara has been a part of the performing troop and has rendered many prestigious performances, one of which is the Ramanotsavam compilations, where she is one among the winning group. Regardless to this, her ambitious nature has impelled her to participate in a contest organized by Bharatiya Nrityakala Parishath, a state level competition at Mysore, where she bagged second place with the reinforcement of her Guru and her substantial talent. Taking the dance as her profession, she has been associated with Achchi Classical Dance Centre as a teaching faculty and has served with at most credibility.
